A Little Game of Tag!

In response to the “test”, we were having some issues with our blog and I tried a quick test to see if it was working. Sorry for not updating often enough, we plan to put some more pictures up soon!

We have been tagged by the Ponczochs and so now we have to write 7 quirky things about ourselves. So get ready, we are very quirky people!

1. Jeremy has to have his hair cut every 3 weeks, and it has to be a certain way or he throws a fit. I think this qualifies for quirky!
2. Bea has to smell her deodorant each and every time she puts it on. What makes it strange is that she does this routine before each arm. I think that is quirky!
3. When Jeremy is stressed, instead of trying to do less and relax, he adds more things to do! Kind of the opposite of what he should do. I find this very annoying and quirky!
4. Bea has to check and see that every single door in the house is locked before she goes to bed, even after I told her I already checked! If that isn’t enough she also goes and checks every single window in the kids’ rooms to make sure they are locked. I find this a little strange!
5. This may be a little too personal, but very quirky! Jeremy prefers silky underwear, and if that isn’t enough he also bought a red silk robe!
6. When Bea eats her food, she can’t allow any of the different types of foods on her plate to touch. If they do, she can’t (or won’t) eat it. I try to explain that it all goes to the same place, but she is quirky!
7. And finally, we have to go to bed at the same time. If one of us stays up, it is too difficult for the other to fall asleep. We think this is a little quirky and a little too much like an old married couple!

The rules are:
1. Link to the person that tagged you, and post the rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 random and or weird facts about yourself.
3. Tag 7 random people at the end of your post, and include links to their blogs.
4. Let each person know that they've been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

We are fairly new to blogging and a lot of our friends don’t have blogs, so I guess our little game of tag stops here. We don't have 7 people to tag!

Reba and more...

Bea really must love Reba, because sick and all she went to the concert! She got the flu and went anyway. We spent the weekend in Illinois with some of our good friends. Bea had a Reba concert (part of her Christmas present) to go to with her friend Sara. We also celebrated Sara's birthday. The kids are doing well, Cade's test results didn't reveal a whole lot. We know now that he definitely has croup, and if it isn't better by the time he is 18 months they are going to send him to a specialist. My foot is still sore, but not as swollen. I am hoping to be able to start running again next week. It has been crazy cold here and we are looking forward to Spring break next month.

Nurse Bea once again...

Once again Jeremy has a problem with his toe. We went to the Doctor today because he could hardly put any pressure on it. They took some X rays and found that the bone was cracked and heavily infected again. The purple stuff is for one infection, and he is on a stronger antibiotic for the other infection. The two dots are where they numbed his toe with a 5 inch needle. When they were doing it I thought he was going to kick the doctor, he actually moved his foot quickly and bent the needle on his bone. I could see that he was in a lot of pain by the look on his face. I can see that he would never be able to have a baby :) Also, Friday they want to do a CAT scan on Cade's throat. He has sounded like he has had croup for the past 3 months. The doctor is concerned and thought a CAT scan would help find any problems. He seems happy and healthy, other than the cough and the breathing problems. The other two kids are doing well and keep me busy. We will keep you up to date about Jeremy's booboo and Cade's throat.
